HISTORY:
"Retreat Syndrome" arrived at the SMLA on Dec 23, 1963. The story was first published in Worlds Of Tomorrow in Jan 1965. No comments on the story have been found.A fairly complicated story, "Retreat Syndrome" is about a man who believes the world around him is not real and despite the efforts of his psychiatrist he continues to believe that he killed his wife on Ganymede for betraying the Revolution. He tries to kill his wife again but are his delusions real, or is he only imagining things?
